4 Your Info:

I’m still in the learning curve of this software, and though I enjoy “tinkering” with it, some things will simply come and go until I get into the groove.

I’m just about to start placing some poetry and articles in here (finally;-/), and you’re more than welcome to offer suggestions.

In the meantime, please bear with me and I’ll “show as I go.”

A little info on the differences between “pages” and “posts:”

Pages are basically informational in nature.  I’ll plug info into them, and update them as I see fit.  There won’t be any “comment” links on “pages,” like there will be on “posts,” but there will be a subscription box on most of the pages, in case you want to be updated on any particular pages.

“Posts” will be where I place some of the articles and poetry that will end up in here.  In just about every case, you will have the ability to comment on “posts,” as well as subscribe to those posts you’re interested in.

Now, if you’re not thoroughly confused yet, just give me some time.  I’ll see to it that you catch up to my level of confusion as quickly as possible.

I tell you what:

Software’s pretty cool when it works, and even though this software by Wordpress.org has a quote at the bottom of their site’s pages that exclaims that “Code is Poetry,” I have to disagree.

Code is what it is outside when the temperature drops, and your nose is stuffed up…

And that’s not poetic!

Dave

ps - Keep you eyes peeled for the polls I place over on the right. They’re there to help with everything from design to poetic preference.
